Description
This should drink well young but have no trouble rewarding 5 to 8 years of cellar time
It reveals the most balanced palate of all of the 2010 wines
festive spices and the beginnings of savory
It was bottled in June 2024
Jean-Marc Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Macherelles Blanc other_regions This should drink well youngThis is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction and it is enough to push the underlying fruit to the background. By contrast there is good verve and freshness to the moderately dense flavors that possess almost painful intensity on the lemony, linear and chiseled finale that flashes both first rate depth and length. Its rare for Macherelles to achieve this level of quality color me impressed.
